The Ortlieb Commuter-Daypack is a 21-litre waterproof backpack designed around the realities of the daily cycling commute. IP64 Waterproofing

Constructed from PU-coated PS33 nylon with a full IP64 waterproof rating — completely dustproof and protected against water jets from all directions. The roll-top closure seals the main compartment entirely without zips, creating a barrier that holds in heavy commuting rain, road spray and wet-weather storage. Roll three times minimum; five for sustained heavy rain.

Laptop Protection

A padded laptop sleeve inside the main compartment accommodates laptops up to 15 inches and sits against the back panel for cushioning and ergonomic weight placement. A separate padded tablet sleeve sits in front of the laptop sleeve for independent access. Both are padded on all sides for drop protection during the commute.

Organisation and Access

The main roll-top compartment gives full access to the interior once unsealed. A large front zip pocket is fully waterproof and keeps commuting essentials — keys, transit card, cables, documents — immediately accessible without opening the main bag. Inside the main compartment, a mesh organiser panel with pockets and key clip keeps smaller items in place.
